Marcelo Menard is a seasoned professional in enterprise architecture and software development with extensive experience dating back to 1987. Currently serving as the Global Enterprise Architecture Manager at Vale since February 2012, Marcelo has previously held notable positions such as Principal Enterprise Architect at Toronto Hydro and Chief Innovation Officer at Genesis Knowledge Streams. Additional roles include Applications & Software Development Manager at Competir, Information Technology Director at Educ.ar Sociedad del Estado, and Chief Information Officer at Construir Salud-OSPECON. Marcelo began a career in software engineering, holding project leader roles at Siemens KWU AG, Nowsco Americas SA, and OCA. Marcelo holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Communication and Aerospace Systems from the Aeronautic School Institute, completed between 1980 and 1985.
