Kenya Millard is an experienced engineering professional with over 19 years of expertise in project management and engineering within the mining sector. Currently serving as the Gerente de Engenharia de Projetos de Capital at Vale since October 2011, Kenya is responsible for managing detailed engineering project activities and ensuring quality during the implementation of capital projects in Mariana and Brucutu, with a strong emphasis on health, safety, and environmental considerations. Prior roles include Engenheiro Especialista, where Kenya led detailed engineering efforts for multiple projects in the Mariana complex, and Engenheiro Master, focusing on project maturity assessments and strategic alignment. Before joining Vale, Kenya worked at SNC-Lavalin as an Engenheiro, specializing in process planning and multidisciplinary integration within feasibility studies and technical evaluations.
