Pierre-Richard Cornely holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and brings extensive academic and corporate experience to their current role as Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics and Professor of Engineering at Valdosta State University. Previously, Cornely served as the Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder of precursor SPC, focusing on earthquake forecasting systems, and held several prominent positions at Eastern Nazarene College, including Science and Technology Division Chair. Additional roles include Senior Research Systems Engineer at Raytheon, President and CEO of 374's Electric Power Corporation, and various academic appointments, reflecting a strong commitment to education and innovative engineering solutions. Cornely has also contributed to diversity initiatives through leadership at the Haitian Scientific Society Inc. and has been influential in developing assistive technologies during earlier career stages.
