Stephen Larson is an accomplished outdoor professional with extensive experience in mountain guiding and resort management. Currently serving as Principal Patroller at Vail Resorts in Lake Tahoe since January 2018, Stephen drives change within the resort industry while ensuring safety through risk assessment and medical response. As a mountain guide with Sierra Wilderness Seminars and High Peaks Guides, Stephen demonstrates essential skills for safe multi-day travel in challenging terrains. Past roles include contributing writer and photographer for Wild Northeast, manager and technician at Maui North Ski and Cycle, and various positions including resident assistant and student sales representative during time at SUNY Plattsburgh, where Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration.
