Mark Pitcher has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare and wellness. Mark is currently working as the Director of Occupational Health at Vail Health since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sigma Tactical Wellness as an Exercise Physiologist from October 2017 to October 2021. Their responsibilities included conducting cardiovascular health screenings and risk assessments for law enforcement organizations, interpreting lab results, and developing exercise and nutrition strategies.

Before joining Sigma Tactical Wellness, Mark worked as a TRX Sports Medicine Course Instructor at TRX Training, where they were responsible for teaching and instructing courses related to sports medicine from 2011 to 2021.

From October 2004 to October 2021, Mark served as a Chiropractic Sports Physician at Vail Integrative Medical Group. Additionally, they owned and directed Pitcher Chiropractic Clinic from June 1997 to January 2005.

Mark also has experience as a Sessional Lecturer at Memorial University of Newfoundland, where they taught from January 2001 to December 2001.

Mark Pitcher holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Mark also has a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Work Physiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, completed between 2001 and 2006. In addition, Mark Pitcher is pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Northern Colorado, expected to be completed in 2024. Mark has further certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians obtained in 2016, and as an Emergency Medical Technician from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, obtained in March 2013. Additionally, Mark Pitcher completed a course in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Colorado Mountain College in 2013.
