Luis Tisnes has worked in the port technology industry since 2020, when they began as the Port Technology Market Manager at VAHLE Inc. Prior to this, they were Regional Sales Manager at Cavotec USA, Inc. from 2006 to 2020, where they were in charge of Sales and Marketing strategies for US West Coast, Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean. Luis also held the role of Sales Engineer and Regional Sales Manager at Cavotec Gantrex USA, Inc. from 2004 to 2006 and was the Deputy Project Manager, QA/QC, Concrete Manager, and Engineering Manager at Hong Kong Dredging Corporation (CHEC) from 2003 to 2004.

Luis Tisnes received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Alliant International University in 1988, having started their studies in 1984.
