Camilla Tuomela is a Stormwater Engineer at the City of Vaasa since September 2022 and a Doctoral Candidate at Aalto University School of Engineering since December 2016, focusing on Urban Runoff Management with an emphasis on water quality patterns and pollutant transport in cold climates. Camilla has served as a Teaching Assistant for a Master's course in Groundwater Hydrology and was a Research Assistant for a Master's thesis on Stormwater pollutant modeling. Prior experience includes a trainee position at the Finnish Environment Institute, where tasks involved flood modeling, and a part-time Student Advisor role at Aalto University. Camilla holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Aalto University and has participated in exchange studies at the Technical University of Denmark.
