Linda Remels is an experienced pneumologist specializing in intensive care and respiratory diseases. Currently serving as a Geassocieerd Pneumoloog at UZA since January 2023, Linda previously held the position of Pneumoloog- Intensivist and head of the Lung Disease department at St-Elisabeth Ziekenhuis Zottegem from October 2014 to December 2022, managing critically ill patients alongside anesthesiologist colleagues. Linda's earlier career includes being the head of the Lung Diseases department at AZ St Elisabeth Ziekenhuis from October 2003 to October 2014 and completing specialized training in pneumology at UZ Brussel from 1990 to 2003, where expertise was developed under the guidance of Professor Dr. Vincken. Linda's educational background includes advanced credentials in intensive care from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with additional degrees in medicine and a doctorate in cellular immunology from the same institution and U Hasselt.
