Jens van Krieken currently serves as Apotheker hoofd van dienst at UZA since September 2023. With extensive experience in hospital pharmacy, Jens held the position of Head of Pharmacy at AZ Sint-Maarten from August 2014 to September 2023 and was a Hospital Pharmacist at ZNA from September 2003 to August 2014. Jens has been an active board member of the Belgian association of hospital pharmacists (BVZA-ABPH) since 2007, serving as secretary from 2009 to 2011 and as adjoint treasurer since 2011. Additionally, Jens has been a board member of the Flemish association of hospital pharmacists (VZA) since 2007, taking on roles as co-webmaster since 2008 and treasurer since 2011. Jens's educational background includes a MaNaMa in Hospital Pharmacy from the University of Antwerp and various management and training courses from institutions such as Antwerp Management School and Vlerick Business School.
