Elise Van Cauwenberg is a highly experienced nursing professional with a diverse background in various roles within healthcare. Currently serving as a Verpleegkundige ziekenhuishygiënist at UZA since March 2017, Elise has previously held multiple positions at AZ Nikolaas, including Adjunct Hoofdverpleegkundige Dagziekenhuis Chirurgie – Pijn – Interne and Recovery Nurse. Additional volunteer and interim roles in nursing were undertaken with Intersoc vzw and WZC Wissekerke, among others. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Hospital Hygiene from KU Leuven and a Master of Nursing Sciences from Ghent University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Katholieke Hogeschool Sint Lieven.
