Patrick Demey is an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at AZ Sint-Lucas Gent since October 2023, with prior experience in the same role at Heilig Hartziekenhuis Lier, Sint-Jozefskliniek Izegem, and az groeninge from October 2020 to September 2023. Experience also includes working with the Musculoskeletal Transplantation Team at UZ Gent from January 2016 to September 2020, focusing on harvesting musculoskeletal allografts. Additionally, Patrick served as a Coast Lifeguard and First Aider for IKWV between July 2016 and August 2018, and as a Pool Lifeguard at Baan4 by Carine Verbauwen from January 2015 to January 2018. Patrick is currently pursuing a Post Graduate degree in Orthopaedic Surgery at Ghent University, following a comprehensive education pathway that includes various medical specializations and degrees from Ghent University and an internship at Università degli Studi di Bari.
