Krishna Chaitanya Pavani serves as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at UZ Gent since October 2020, focusing on extracellular vesicles as non-invasive biomarkers for human embryo implantation. Previous roles include Laboratory Operations Manager at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Ghent University and Postdoctoral Researcher, where significant contributions were made in optimizing extracellular vesicle-miRNA isolation and demonstrating their impact on embryo quality. Krishna's extensive research background includes a Joint PhD funded by the European Union H2020 and a PhD in Agrarian Sciences from Universidade dos Açores, complemented by a Master's in Molecular Biology. Academic experience also includes lecturing on Environmental Sciences at BVSR Engineering College and participation as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Bonn.
