Jacob Speer is an experienced web and design professional, currently serving as the Director of Web & Design Services at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse since July 2013. In this role, Jacob oversees the design and maintenance of content for various academic departments and offices. Prior to this, Jacob held positions at Southwest Minnesota State University from August 2009 to July 2013, where responsibilities included coordinating and designing all content for the university website, as well as developing intranet web applications. Jacob began the career as a Web Services Assistant, focusing on web layouts, graphics, and training faculty and staff on the Content Management System (CMS). Educationally, Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Southwest Minnesota State University, graduating in 2009, and completed secondary education at Verona Area High School.
