Fransje Portegies has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and consulting. They began their career at Bayer as a Junior Accountant in April 2016 and worked until March 2017. They then joined Awaait Artificial Intelligence S.L. in May 2017 as a Summer Intern and later became a Project Leader in September 2017. They worked in this role until January 2021. Fransje then joined UVE I Route to market data intelligence in January 2021 as a Consultant. They were later promoted to Senior Consultant in December 2021 and then to Project Manager in July 2022.

Fransje Portegies's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled at the University of Amsterdam. They pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Econometrics and completed their studies in 2017. In 2015, they participated in an Exchange Program at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, focusing on Business and Economics. Following this, in 2017, Fransje continued their education at the University of Amsterdam, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Econometrics, completing it in 2018.
