Matt Papakipos is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering, product development, and management. Currently serving as Director of Applied Research at NVIDIA since July 2024, Matt previously co-founded Anemone B.V., creating a cloud-based investment portfolio management application. As founder of Pied Piper Robotics, Matt developed a home robot, and during tenure at Pop Ventures Ltd., invested in multiple startups in Seoul. Matt’s earlier roles include Director of Engineering at Facebook, where contributions included Facebook WiFi and ad systems, and Engineering Director at Google, leading the Chrome OS project. Additionally, Matt served as CTO of Peakstream, Inc., and held key positions at NVIDIA and SGI, with a foundational education in Mathematics and Computer Science from Brown University.
