Merve Burnazoglu is an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University, where roles include PhD Candidate in Economics focused on identity-based stratification mechanisms in markets and policy, and Lecturer in the Philosophy, Politics and Economics Program. Merve has contributed to courses such as "Principles of the Welfare State" and "Capstone Project: Markets" and has served as a Teaching Assistant in various economics courses. Additionally, Merve is an Adam Smith Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Previous experience includes working as a Financial Analyst at Corendon Hotels & Resorts and internships at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the Central Bank of Turkey, and the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.
