James Foster has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. James is currently serving as Telco Product Lead at Utility Warehouse, where they oversee the product experience and delivery for mobile and broadband services. Prior to this, they worked as Lead MVNO Commercial Manager at Virgin Media O2, managing contractual and commercial partner relationships for Tesco Mobile and Lyca Mobile. James has also held various roles at Three, including Head of Prepay Voice and Head of Superdrug Mobile MVNO, where they focused on P&L activities, customer base management, and digital transformation projects. James has previous experience at Tesco Mobile, where they worked as Head of Pay Monthly and Head of Pay As You Go, managing P&L operations, acquisitions, and retention. Additionally, James has experience as an Area Manager at Tesco Mobile Phone Shops, a Flagship Store Manager at 3, a General Manager at Phones4u, and a District Manager and Store Manager at Blockbuster. Throughout their career, James has demonstrated expertise in sales, customer service, team management, and strategic leadership.
James Foster attended Harris Academy Crystal Palace from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their high school education following the national curriculum. James then pursued further education at Croydon College from 1995 to 1996. At the college, they obtained a Business and Technology BTEC FE Level 3 degree, as well as a City & Guilds NVQ Level 1 & 2 degree in Hospitality & Catering and Information Technology.
