John Boyd has had an extensive career in law enforcement, starting as a police officer at the La Porte Police Department and eventually serving as the Sheriff of La Porte County for two terms. John was a founding member of the Indiana Sheriffs Youth Ranch and also worked as a Manager of Law Enforcement Relations at Utility, Inc. John retired from the La Porte County Sheriff's Office in January 2023 after 32 years of service.
