Steven (Shijun) X. has extensive work experience in the technology and finance sectors. Steven (Shijun) began their career at EnergyQuote JHA, Accenture in 2007 as a System Developer, where they focused on system development, software architecture design, and business analysis. Steven then joined BP in 2011 as an Analyst Developer, where they worked until 2013. Steven (Shijun) then went on to Barclays Investment Bank as an AVP Developer for a year before joining Utility Data Intelligence in 2014 as the Director & CTO.

Steven (Shijun) X. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from 2002 to 2006. Steven (Shijun) then pursued an MSc in EE&E at Imperial College London from 2006 to 2007.
