Sharon Messimer currently serves as the Executive Director of Patient Experience for UT Physicians, a position held since July 2019. Previously, Sharon held the role of System Director of Patient and Family Experience at Texas Health Resources from 2013 to 2019, where responsibilities included deploying strategies to enhance HCAHPS/Press Ganey scores through collaboration across organizational levels. Earlier experiences include serving as System Director of Service Excellence at St. Luke's Episcopal Health System from 2009 to 2013, where Sharon created and implemented service excellence strategies and led initiatives with board members. From 2001 to 2009, Sharon was the System Senior Director of Customer Relationship Management at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, focusing on comprehensive patient experiences and marketing campaigns. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Liberal Arts from Houston Christian University.
