Allen Anderson holds the position of Janey Briscoe Distinguished University Chair in Cardiovascular Research and serves as a Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Dolph and Janey Briscoe Division of Cardiology at UT Health San Antonio. Previously, Allen Anderson was the Director of the Center for Heart Failure and Network Development at Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute, and a Professor of Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine. Allen Anderson also served as the Director of Heart Failure and Transplantation at the University of Chicago. Allen Anderson earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University and completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Chicago.
