Mark Tanchel, M.D. serves as the Managing Partner at Gastroenterology Associates of New Jersey since April 2020, following the integration of Hackensack Digestive into the organization. Additionally, Mark holds the position of Medical Director at Endoscopy Center of Hackensack, LLC since October 2014, and also serves as Deputy Medical Director at Paramus Endoscopy, LLC. As a Senior Attending Physician at Hackensack University Medical Center and a Gastroenterologist at Hackensack Digestive Disease Associates since July 2000, Mark specializes in general consultative gastroenterology. Prior training includes a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, and an Internal Medicine residency at Tufts Medical Center. Mark completed medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brandeis University.
