Michael Gu currently serves as Branch Chief at the Center For Drug Evaluation and Research within the FDA/CDER/Office of Executive Programs since July 2022. In addition to this role, Michael Gu has been an Engineer with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since March 2013. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Division Director and Acting Division Director at the Center for Tobacco Programs/Office of Compliance and Enforcement from March 2011 to July 2022, as well as previous positions as Branch Chief and Consumer Safety Officer. Michael Gu holds an Executive Master of Business Administration, a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering, a Project Management Certificate, and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, all from the University of Maryland.
