Brian McAleney, Psy.D., currently serves as Chief Psychologist and Staff Psychologist at the Federal Bureau of Prisons since March 2020, while also holding the rank of Lieutenant in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Prior experience includes the role of Licensed Clinical Psychologist for Fairfax County Government from August 2015 to March 2020, and a Predoctoral Psychology Internship at Saint Elizabeths Hospital from July 2014 to June 2015. Brian completed doctoral and master's degrees in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology, attaining a Doctor of Psychology in 2015 and a Master of Arts in 2011, following a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands in 2007. Additional qualifications include various externships and teaching assistantships, along with research roles in academic and clinical settings.
