Brian L. Cook is an experienced Environmental Protection Specialist with a focus on climate change mitigation and environmental compliance within the National Park Service since September 2006. Currently leading a team as Environmental Management Branch Chief, Brian supports 70 national park units in improving environmental compliance, energy efficiency, and accessibility. In addition to this role, responsibilities include temporary duties as Regional Risk Manager and prior experience with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Brian holds an MBA from Georgia State University, an MSPH in Environmental Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a BS in Biology from American University, and has studied at Duke University.
