Ashley L. Greiner

Medical Officer - Commander at USPHS Commissioned Corps

Ashley L. Greiner serves as the Team Lead for the Emergency Response Capacity Team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, specializing in the Emergency Response and Recovery Branch within the Division of Global Health Protection. Since July 2014, Ashley has held various roles at the CDC, including Unit Lead for the Emergency Training and Professional Development Unit and Emergency Public Health Epidemiologist with the Global Rapid Response Team. Concurrently, Ashley is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a Medical Officer - Commander in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Prior experience includes a Global Health and International Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Educational qualifications encompass an MD/MPH from Tufts University School of Medicine, a Resident Physician degree from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University.
