Fernando Caracoche has extensive experience in engineering and project management, particularly in the steel industry. Fernando has held various leadership positions at companies such as USIMINAS and Ternium. Their roles have included VP of Engineering Safety and Environment at USIMINAS, where they focused on integrating areas and establishing long-term sustainability visions. At Ternium, they served as the Engineering Senior Director, leading CAPEX investment projects and spearheading the Decarbonization Roadmap. Fernando has also been responsible for managing engineering departments, including Ternium's Engineering and Environmental Department in Brazil.
