Mary Alaba Adekoya currently serves as the Diversity and Learning & Development Coordinator at USG since October 2023. Previously, Mary held the position of Associate Director for Affinity Programs and Engagement at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from November 2021 to May 2023. Mary has extensive experience at the University of Chicago, where roles included Administrative Specialist for the Parrhesia Program for Public Discourse, BA Preceptor and Program Assistant in Interdisciplinary Studies, Resident Head, and various positions as a Course Assistant. Additionally, Mary was a Provost's Higher Education Fellow focused on graduate diversity recruitment and has taught self-designed courses on film analysis and Black cinema. Educational credentials include a PhD in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of Chicago and a BS in Media Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
