Chad Withers serves as Vice President and Chief Tax Officer at Caterpillar Inc. since June 2015, with prior roles including Director of Global Tax Operations and Senior International Tax Director. In addition to responsibilities at Caterpillar, Chad Withers is a Board Member for both the United States Council for International Business (USCIB) since December 2022 and The Tax Council since 2018. Before Caterpillar, Chad Withers held multiple tax-related positions at Procter & Gamble from June 1994 to June 2015, culminating in the Associate Director of Global Taxes. Academically, Chad Withers earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from Kenyon College and a Master's in Taxation from the University of Cincinnati's Carl H. Lindner College of Business.
