Skip Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and financial management. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at USAA since April 2020, Skip also holds the title of Senior Software Engineer there. As the Managing Principal at Big Idea Advisors LLC since April 2003, leadership skills have been further developed. Previous roles include Principal Instructor at PeopleSoft, Inc., PS Financials Functional Lead and Controller for the City of Seattle, and Assistant Controller at Pacific Linen. Early career experience includes a position as Senior Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and a BS in Accounting/Finance from Westminster University.
