Pete Babcock has extensive experience in information security and technology management, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Identity and Access Management Architect at USAA, Pete has developed IAM capabilities and roadmaps while previously managing the Information Security team. Additional roles at USAA include Information Security Strategist and Lead Information Security Analyst across various domains, such as cloud security and cyber threat operations. Prior to USAA, Pete held management and architectural positions at IBM and Acxiom, where expertise in security event management and infrastructure design was demonstrated. An early career in the US Navy provided foundational training in rescue and anti-submarine warfare. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems and has completed studies at various institutions.
