Ryan F. Cooper is an accomplished data and product management professional with extensive experience in the cycling and athletic performance sectors. Currently serving at USA Cycling since April 2023, Ryan leverages data to support Team USA coaches and athletes in achieving excellence. As co-founder of BestBikeSplit since June 2013, Ryan established a leading platform for race-day performance modeling utilized by top professionals and enthusiasts alike. Previous roles include principal product manager at Amazon, chief scientist at TrainingPeaks, and owner of The Cycling Coop. With a strong educational background that includes a Ph.D. and an MS in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University, as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Ryan combines technical expertise with a passion for enhancing athletic coaching and performance.
