Jonathan Kabak is an experienced maritime professional with a diverse background in leadership and education within the sailing and maritime community. Currently, Jonathan serves as the US Sailing Safety at Sea Moderator since March 2022 and is the Chief Executive Officer at Oliver Hazard Perry Rhode Island since February 2019. In addition to these roles, Jonathan is an Adjunct Curriculum Developer and Instructor at the United States Maritime Resource Center and has been a Board Member of Tall Ships America since April 2011. Previous positions include Director of Marine Operations at the USMMA Sailing Foundation and Director of Sail Training at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Jonathan's practical experience is complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in History from Franklin Pierce University and a stint as a Visiting Student in Modern History at the University of Oxford.
