Sumitrra Ganguli

Sumitrra Ganguli, Ph.D., currently serves as an Economist at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since July 2024. Prior to this role, Sumitrra held positions at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from September 2018 to September 2024, including Senior Research Economist III and Senior Associate Energy Research Economist-II. Sumitrra's academic experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and holding various roles at the University of Missouri-Columbia, including Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Independent Instructor. Earlier career experiences encompass consulting for IMA India Pvt Ltd, working as a Research Assistant at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations, and roles as a Trainee Journalist at The Economic Times and Research Intern at UNCTAD.
