Christine Smith

Christine Smith, DrPH, currently serves as a Physical Scientist at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Laboratory Supervisor and Laboratory Specialist at Prince William County Service Authority from July 2018 to August 2023, and as Laboratory Technician from June 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, Christine held the position of Environmental Scientist at Norman Cole Jr. Pollution Control between April 2015 and June 2017, and worked as a Technical Specialist at Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. from March 2011 to November 2014, where responsibilities included training peers and writing SOPs. Earlier in the career, Christine was a Lab Technician at Alere Inc. from March 2010 to March 2011, focusing on analyzing specimens for substance abuse. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Public Health in Epidemiology from Capella University (2013-2021), a Master's degree in Biology from Virginia State University (2010-2012), a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Virginia State University (2006-2009), and an Associate of Science from Rowan College at Gloucester County (2003-2006).
