Andrea Chong is an accomplished chemist with significant experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as a Chemist at US BioTek Laboratories since November 2018, Andrea previously worked as a Master's student and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, contributing to research on nickel catalyzed anti-Markovnikov hydroarylation of alkenes and the discovery of novel mononuclear copper hydride complexes. Earlier experience includes an Undergraduate Research Assistant role at the University of Michigan, where efforts were directed towards the development of Acyl Protein Thioesterase 2 inhibitor derivatives. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
