Amy Blok is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) since October 2014, and as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Faculty Practice) at US Anesthesia Partners since September 2015. Previous roles include Nurse Anesthetist positions at Medical Anesthesia Associates and Greater Houston Anesthesiology, as well as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Houston Methodist. Amy Blok holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, all from UTHealth, along with an Associate of Science degree from Blinn College and a high school diploma from Lexington High School.
