Christopher Crouse is a Senior Materials Engineer at Ursa Major since June 2022, where responsibilities include supporting failure investigations, managing an additive materials database, authoring materials standards, and leading R&D projects related to high-performance engines. Prior to Ursa Major, Crouse served in various roles at Woodward, Inc., ultimately as a Senior Materials Engineer, contributing to corporate materials and surface engineering efforts. Experience also includes a Biomaterials Research Fellowship at the Naval Medical Research Unit - San Antonio, focusing on enhancing the health and performance of military personnel, and an engineering internship at Hazen Research Inc. Crouse holds a Master’s degree in Material Science Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
