Daniel Alfaro Pla is an experienced engineer specializing in waste management and renewable energy. Currently serving as Ingénieur études et procédés - Chargé d'affaires at Urbaser Environnement SAS since March 2017, Daniel manages projects focused on the construction, modernization, and operation of waste treatment facilities, including energy recovery, anaerobic digestion, and composting. Previous experience includes an engineering internship in the commercial department, concentrating on the marketing of solid recovered fuel in France and abroad. Daniel has a strong academic background with a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València and an engineering degree in Sustainable Energy from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rouen.
