Camilla Engel Lemser currently serves as a Ph.D. student at Statens Serum Institut since July 2022 and is also a Ph.D. student at PREDICT - Center for Molecular Prediction of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, focusing on the biological and molecular changes associated with the onset of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) since September 2020. Prior experience includes working as an academic staff member at Statens Serum Institut and as a research assistant at the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark, where responsibilities included q-PCR and literature searches. Camilla's earlier roles include a master's thesis student at Rigshospitalet and a science presenter at Experimentarium, where engagement with diverse audiences was key. Camilla holds a Master of Science in Cell Biology & Physiology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen, along with an STX degree in Biology from Birkerød Gymnasium.
