Linda King serves as the Director of Housing Stability at United Way of the Columbia-Willamette since August 2021 and as the Housing Programs Manager at the Urban League of Portland since September 2019. In these roles, Linda King provides leadership for culturally specific services aimed at assisting Black/African American and other communities of color facing homelessness. Responsibilities include overseeing multi-agency collaborations, managing a team of 11 Housing and Outreach Specialists, and enhancing program funding through successful grant writing, including securing $230K for Financial Empowerment initiatives. Linda King's professional development efforts ensure that staff deliver high quality, trauma-informed, and equity-based services to over 350 participants annually.
