Janis Ploetz serves as the Director of ULI San Antonio, a local district council of the Urban Land Institute, since December 2015. Prior to this role, Janis directed marketing and communications at Travis Commercial Real Estate Services from January 2012 to December 2015, overseeing creative development for a significant leasing and management portfolio. Previous experience includes directing marketing, research, and communications at Cross & Company + Cushman & Wakefield, where Janis promoted numerous properties and developments. Early career experience spans commercial real estate sales and management, as well as account management in advertising for various prominent clients. Janis holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
