J. Catherine Rollins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public policy, advocacy, and urban development. Currently serving as the Director at the Urban Land Institute since July 2022, Rollins previously held the position of Manager of Local Public Policy at the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® and Director of Operations and Special Projects at the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation. Additional roles include Deputy Chief of Staff & Director of Policy for the City of Everett and Senior Legislative Analyst for the Massachusetts Municipal Association. Rollins has also served as Director of Policy & Intergovernmental Relations for the City of New Bedford and has held various consulting and campaign positions, including as a Public Affairs Consultant for Harrah's Entertainment and a Field Organizer for John Kerry’s presidential campaign. Educational credentials include a BA in Government from Wesleyan University, a Master of Arts in Public Affairs from Brown University, and an MBA from Fitchburg State University.
