Tene Traylor

VP Research To Action Lab at URBAN INSTITUTE

Tene Traylor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and philanthropy. Currently serving as Vice President at the Urban Institute’s Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy since February 2022 and as an Adjunct Instructor for the Philanthropy Lab at Emory University's Goizueta Business School since January 2021, Tene has previously held significant roles such as Fund Advisor at The Kendeda Fund and Senior Program Officer at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. Tene's expertise includes directing sizable endowments for neighborhood-based grants, developing funding recommendations, and managing substantial program budgets. Additionally, Tene has contributed to the United Way of Greater Atlanta in various capacities, focusing on youth and community development. Tene Traylor holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University.
