Julie Lein

Co-founder and Managing Partner at Urban Innovation Fund

Julie Lein is a seasoned investment professional and co-founder of the Urban Innovation Fund, where, since June 2016, responsibilities include managing partnerships and investing in startups that address urban challenges. Prior experience includes co-founding and serving as President of Tumml, an urban ventures accelerator from 2012 to 2018, which provided funding and mentorship to tech startups. Additional roles include serving as an Education Pioneers Fellow at Revolution Foods in 2011, working as an Analyst at Tulchin Research from 2009 to 2010, contributing as an Assistant Analyst at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner from 2007 to 2009, and functioning as a Research Analyst at LECG from 2006 to 2007. Julie Lein holds a BA in Public Policy from Stanford University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
