Loyan Hashi

Assistant Resident Engineer at Urban Engineers

Loyan Hashi, E.I.T., is an experienced engineer currently serving as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Urban Engineers since August 2024. Prior to this role, Loyan worked as a Structural Engineer I at SK&A Structural Engineers from July 2021 to August 2024 and held the position of Student Research Assistant at Cornell University from October 2019 to July 2021. Loyan also contributed as a Woodshop/Metalshop Technician at Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, providing technical assistance to architecture students. Additionally, Loyan participated in the Diversity Programs Cornell Engineering as an Engineering Summer Math Institute Researcher, focusing on applied math research in naval fleet optimization. An earlier notable experience includes participation in the MOSTEC Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Loyan engaged in aerospace research and presented findings at a symposium.
