Genevieve Joubert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development economics and the service industry. Currently serving as a Senior Development Economist at Urban-Econ Development Economists since April 2012, Genevieve focuses on research and advisory services across various sectors, including renewable energies and community development. Genevieve also operates as a self-employed consultant with Furnit since 2019. Past experience includes roles as a Stewardess and Deck Hand for a private super yacht, marketing and administrative responsibilities at Asoka Bar, and serving as a Door Lady at Tiger Tiger Nightclub during university studies. Genevieve holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, specializing in Tourism Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Media Studies, both from the University of Cape Town.
