Raven Odom, MPH, serves as Co Director at Urban Core Collective since January 2023 and is the Founder of Raven Odom Consulting since August 2020. Previously, Raven Odom held the position of Health Advocacy Administrative Fellow at the Grand Rapids African American Health Institute from August 2018 to August 2020. Raven Odom's academic background includes a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature, both from the University of Michigan. Experience as a Graduate Research Assistant involved developing a research manuscript on substance use among Black adolescents and adapting intervention curricula for health outcomes. Additional roles included Graduate Student Instructor positions at the University of Michigan, where Raven led discussion sections and supported curriculum development, and leadership positions in student organizations focused on public health and student support programs.
