Laurence Liew is the Director of AI Innovation at AI Singapore since June 2017, leading efforts to advance AI research and adoption within the Singapore ecosystem. As Co-Chair of the Commercialization and Innovation Working Group for the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence and an Expert Member representing Singapore, Liew plays a pivotal role in promoting responsible AI development. Liew's involvement extends to various prestigious positions, including as a member of the ITE Board of Governors, advisor for Urban AI, and former Chairman of the AI Technical Committee at the International Organization for Standardization. With a Master's degree in Technology (Knowledge Engineering) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, Liew combines educational expertise with a significant professional footprint in the AI and analytics sectors.
