Fotis Stamatelopoulos is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and software development. Currently serving as Senior Director of CX and Trust at Upwork since December 2015, Fotis has held various senior leadership roles, including Senior Director of Platform Engineering, and has contributed significantly to Upwork's Architecture and Infrastructure Team. Prior to Upwork, Fotis was VP of Engineering at Advantage FSE and founded Innovedi Ltd, focusing on innovative cloud-based mobile products in the IoT space. Additionally, Fotis has a diverse background as Founder and CTO of Electronic Business Systems, and has worked as a Senior Researcher and Senior Software Consultant across multiple organizations. Fotis holds advanced degrees in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and National Technical University of Athens, respectively.
